Do you dream of living by the beach in a gorgeous beach house? If you do but know you cannot afford that real beach house just yet then find some ways to transform the inside of your home into a real cottage by the sea.
To begin, try to find some cute shabby beach furniture or something with a clean look. Try to find a pretty white dresser to decorate your bedroom.
If you cannot afford a new piece of furniture you can always try to hunt around for some deals at garage sales or second hand shops. You might be surprised what a little sanding and some painting will do.

A great way to decorate is to use small items to draw attention to corner tables and shelves. Pick out some shabby chic frames that you can buy or something used that you can paint or decorate.
Frames are a great source of decorative charm in homes and you might be surprised how great a cluster of frames on a wall can look. You can also search in thrift shops for these and simply paint them with your favorite beach color.
You might also try picking out some seashells and decorating the frames with them. Purchase a hot glue gun or a clear caulk to stick a pretty starfish in the middle or corner of a seashell.
A very inexpensive way to decorate is by using some pretty glass jars and filling them with gorgeous seashells. You can display these on your tables, dressers and even on a kitchen windowsill for a pretty beach themed look anywhere.
